Rivington

Gifted to the people of Bolton by Lord Leverhulme, Lever Park has been a country park since 1904. The park is a mixture of open ground, woodland and avenues, with a replica of Liverpool Castle located near the lower reservoir. The terraced gardens, once the private gardens of Lord Levehulme’s residence, provide visitors with a unique landscape to explore.

There are spectacular views westward toward the coast from the Pigeon Tower. Down by the reservoirs there are network of paths suitable for walking, wheelchairs and cycling.
