Are you a student moving house?

We know that there are a lot of things to think about whilst you’re at university but getting yourself set up properly with your water account will give you one less thing to worry about! 

If this is your first year away from home and you’ve never had to pay a water bill before, please complete our moving in form to set up your water account.

The best time to let us know you’ve moved into new accommodation is on the day of the move. However, we know you might be a little busy on that day, so within a couple of days of moving in would be great too!

If you’re sharing a house, you might want to think about how you split your bill so you’re not left with the job of nagging everyone for their contribution. If you’re unsure about how to set up the sharing of household bills, have a word with your Student Union who should be able to help

If you already have an account with us, login or register for My Account to update your address details 

Move home online

To set up your water account we’ll need to know: 

  • the date you moved (or are due to move) into your new address
  • your previous address (if you already have a water account with us)
  • the name and address of your landlord
  • a water meter reading if your new home has one. Not sure where your meter is and how to read it? Find help with locating and reading your water meter here
